The journey to Sovereign Bandits began in 2020, during a deeply transformative period in my life. Seeking healing and clarity, I felt a calling to Montana, where I joined Emily Anderson at 'Embodying Wild' on her extraordinary ranch in Bozeman, MT. This wasn’t just a trip; it was the beginning of a powerful awakening.

Surrounded by the wisdom of free-roaming horses and the breathtaking wildness of nature, I experienced a sense of grounding and inner peace that I had never known before. This space allowed me to step away from the noise of life and connect with a deeper part of myself. The horses, with their intuitive presence, gently guided me to truths that were buried within, offering a unique kind of healing that talk therapy never could.

This experience was the catalyst for my transformation. It awakened in me an understanding of the human-horse connection as a source of healing and self-discovery, and it marked the beginning of my journey as an healer and guided facilitator. This pivotal moment not only shifted my life’s trajectory but also became the foundation upon which Sovereign Bandits was built—a space where others could experience the same transformative power I did.

I advanced my personal growth journey by becoming certified as a Psychosynthesis Coach through the Psychospiritual Institute, further enriching my ability to guide others in integrating mind, body, and spirit for transformational healing, a discipline grounded in integrating all parts of the self—mind, body, and spirit—into a cohesive, empowered whole. This training provided me with a deep understanding of the human psyche and equipped me with tools to help clients navigate their personal journeys with clarity, compassion, and intention. It instilled in me the ability to guide others through transformational processes, fostering alignment with their higher purpose.

My journey led me to the scenic vistas of San Luis Obispo, California, where I had the privilege of participating in The Reflective Horse Program, expertly led by Cassandra Ogier. This distinguished program is celebrated for its pioneering methods in equine-guided self-discovery. It skillfully integrates somatic presence, reflective practices, and nuanced nonverbal communication into the art of facilitation.

At the core of the program is Equine Guided Empowerment®, a groundbreaking, nature-centered therapeutic approach devised by The Reflective Horse. This methodology allows participants to engage with horses as partners in a transformative process, fostering profound personal breakthroughs and the deep, lasting embodiment of one’s true self

These experiences have not only deepened my expertise in equine-guided modalities but also solidified my mastery in creating safe, transformative spaces for profound personal growth. I have cultivated the ability to hold space with both strength and sensitivity, enabling clients to access their own inner wisdom, release limiting beliefs, and step into their authentic selves.​​

 

Upon returning to Ireland, I completed my certification as an Equine-Assisted Learning Facilitator at 'Festina Lente', bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to this work.

Today, my purpose is clear: to guide women through their own journeys of growth and self-discovery in a supportive and immersive environment. Drawing from my own life experiences, I help clients reconnect with their authenticity, build resilience, and embrace their unique purpose.

As I step into my role as a facilitator, I will be working closely with Beingwithhorses in the USA. Together with my trusted mare, 'Máel Muire', we will embark on a journey to deepen our understanding and connection with each other. Being with Horses is a groundbreaking approach to the horse/human relationship founded by Sabine & Dan Birmann in Germany. This experience & philosophy is designed to enhance your awareness and empathy, teaching you to read and interpret the subtle cues in a horse's behavior and expressions. Through a focus on body language and energetic presence, we will explore new ways of communicating, all aimed at strengthening our relationship.

Sovereign Bandits stands as a testament to this work, embodying the values of a strong back and a soft heart—strength rooted in compassion and courage guided by gentleness. If the tree is not rooted it will fall, much like ourselves. Together with the wisdom of horses, I strive to create a space where women can reclaim their voices, trust their inner wisdom, and step confidently into their sovereignty.
